Oobit Card Review: Cashback, Fees, & Perks
Oobit is a Visa Tap to Pay product that allows users to spend supported crypto through a mobile wallet. Its rewards combine promotional token cashback with a five-level points programme based on cumulative spending.
Eligible OOB payments can earn up to 10% cashback during qualifying campaigns. The reward level affects the number of points earned rather than the cashback percentage, which depends on the payment token and active promotion.
Oobit supports direct crypto deposits, purchases through Transak, and connections to MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, and Base-compatible wallets. It is best suited to mobile-first users who can make use of its Tap to Pay rewards.

Cashback and Rewards
Eligible token promotions pay cashback after a transaction settles, typically within one to three days. Qualifying OOB campaigns can pay 10% cashback in USDT, while selected stablecoin campaigns can pay 5%. Reward caps depend on the token and campaign.
The points programme uses cumulative Tap to Pay spending over a rolling 90-day period. Higher levels increase the number of points earned per US dollar without changing the cashback percentage.
| Level | Rolling 90-Day Spend | Points per US Dollar |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | $0 | 1 |
| Level 2 | $250 | 2 |
| Level 3 | $500 | 3 |
| Level 4 | $1,000 | 4 |
| Level 5 | $1,500 | 5 |
Points convert to USDC for EEA users and USDT for users outside the EEA at a rate of 1,000 points to $1.
Converted points can be used for future Tap to Pay purchases in Oobit. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or spent outside the platform.
Card Fees
Paymentscan Testing
In Paymentscan’s test, Oobit displayed a purchase amount of PLN 3.20, a fee of PLN 0.95, and a total charge of PLN 4.25.
The total charge was PLN 1.05 higher than the purchase amount, representing an effective uplift of 32.81%. The displayed fee itself represented 29.69% of the purchase amount. The purchase amount and displayed fee totalled PLN 4.15, leaving a PLN 0.10 difference from the final charge shown in the app.
These figures describe a single low-value test transaction rather than a standard rate for every Oobit payment.
Funding Your Oobit Card
Oobit supports onchain deposits for assets including OOB, Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, USDC, EURC, BNB, XRP, Dogecoin, Avalanche, Tron, Litecoin, and Stellar.
USDC deposits are supported across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Arbitrum, Tron, Polygon, and Base.
Users can also connect MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, or a Base-compatible wallet. Card-funded crypto purchases are handled through Transak and support a selection of major assets.
Additional Features
Reward Activities
Users can earn points through Tap to Pay purchases and eligible referrals, social tasks, promotions, challenges, and airdrops.
Reaching Level 2 unlocks access to selected promotional rewards in addition to the higher points multiplier.
Referral Rewards
The referral offer tested by Paymentscan gave each invited friend PLN 1,890 of fee-free spending. After three invited users each spent at least PLN 756, the referrer received PLN 189.
Availability and User Experience
Identity verification uses Sumsub and requires the user’s legal name, date of birth, residential address, government-issued ID, and a facial video check.
Paymentscan completed onboarding in approximately 10 minutes on an iPhone. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported, with the card added to Apple Pay manually during the tested flow.
Who Is This Card For?
Oobit suits users who want a mobile-first way to spend crypto and can benefit from active OOB or stablecoin reward campaigns. Its points programme provides additional value for frequent Tap to Pay users.
The charge recorded during Paymentscan’s small-purchase test reduces its appeal for micropayments. Users who primarily make low-value transactions may prefer a card with a simpler fee structure.
